Refunds

Eligibility

Fees relate to professional time for internal control review and related engagements. Refunds depend on how much scheduled work has started and whether a deposit was paid to reserve a fieldwork window.

Deposits

A deposit may be requested in the engagement letter to hold reviewer calendars. Deposits are credited toward the final fee when the engagement completes as scoped.

Full refund

If we cancel an engagement for reasons solely within our control before fieldwork begins, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for that engagement, including the deposit.

Partial refund and timing

If you cancel in writing more than 14 days before the agreed fieldwork start date, the deposit is refundable minus any documented third-party booking costs already incurred. Cancellations within 14 days typically forfeit the deposit; remaining prepaid fees for work not yet started are refundable.

Work already started

Once walkthroughs, sample selection, or document review has begun, fees for time incurred are payable and non-refundable. Unused portions of a fixed fee may be refunded on a pro-rata basis at our discretion when early termination is mutually agreed.

Non-refundable items

• Time already delivered and documented in timesheets or progress notes
• Agreed out-of-pocket travel already purchased for site visits
• Completed deliverables issued to you (findings memos, matrices, readiness packs)

Rescheduling and no-shows

One reschedule of the fieldwork window with at least 7 days’ notice is usually accommodated without extra charge, subject to reviewer availability. Repeated postponements or client no-shows for scheduled site days may be billed as delivered days under the engagement letter.

Refund process and method

Email hello@advancedwebservicesapp.digital with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within 10 business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 21 business days of approval, unless a different method is required by the paying entity.

Exceptions

Mandatory legal rights under Taiwan law remain unaffected. Engagement letters may set stricter notice periods for multi-site inventory reviews where travel is booked early; those letter terms prevail for that project.
